I’ve no children in any of my closets. What do you take me for?

Clover, who is that gentleman on those photos you just reblogged?

[Hongou stares at it, shifting the stem of it in his fingers. Such a proud country. Admirable how far they go to obtain their freedom.]
“…I… Thank you.”
[He hands the item back to the anon.]
@Hongou
He squirmed a bit uncomfortably in his bed. “I… wished to emulate true danger. And what better way than to use a… working… incinerator…” As he spoke, his voice grew quieter and quieter, until it was barely above a whisper. “I… forgive me,” he continued, shaking his head. “It seems… it seems the nightmares choose to plague me while I am awake, as well.”
“I…see.” she said, staring at him with unblinking eyes. “Nightmares? Are you….hearing voices?” She crossed her legs.
“No,” he replied. Then, “Flashbacks…” He realized then he was shaking, but from what, he couldn’t tell.

I am not out of shape at all. I go to the chiropractor and gym quite often, I’ll have you know.
Visiting Hours…
“I would never,” he insisted, shaking his head. “Clover, believe me, I understand the fear of the ‘darker’ side of yourself. But please… do not think that you are that person. At least, try not to think that way. You are an entirely different being than that shadow.”
♣ Clover frowns a little, biting on her lip once more as her mind rolls over his words. Yes, she was afraid of this…darker side of herself. And who wouldn’t? seeing yourself like that was horrifying. Maybe she was a thankful for seeing it, considering she now knew what she never wanted to be.
“I-i know. It’s just…something no one wants to see…”
Hongou bit down on his lip slightly and his eyes flickered with pity. How horrible that such a young girl would be haunted with similar demons - demons he knew he deserved. But not Clover; she did nothing wrong - simply a fly caught in his spiderweb. Suppressing a chuckle, he wondered what Clover’s reaction would be at his mind labeling her as a fly.
“I know,” he simply says, his expression understanding. He can’t say anything more, but hopes his point became apparent through those two simple words.
